With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One.
Now with charity in mind, let’s talk about the design aspect. They’re comfortable, very simple with a variety of materials/styles to choose from… it’s basically a win win. You get a decent pair of footsies and you’re helping others who aren’t as fortunate. They’re ok, some people can pull em off and some people definitely can not, personally I use mine for house sandals.
However, with the addition of new models in the TOMS Fall 2009 lineup… they finally have a pair that everybody can enjoy.
Toms Cordones, now available at Bows & Arrows and TOMS (in the later fall).

The slim will come with a 120GB drive, and will be 32% smaller and 36% lighter than the standard PlayStation 3, as well as using 34% less power. The $300 price will apply to all PlayStation 3s starting tomorrow. The Slim will be available everywhere by the first week of September.
Includes everything that the latest ps3 fat contains, although you’ll need a vertical stand if you want it to stand up right and no more Linux.

“For however briefly, I am tring to offer people a chance to step into a different New York than they are used to seeing, and in turn, momentarily escape from the routine schedules and lives. We all need the opportunity to see the city more playfully, as a world dominated by the interplay of a very basic color and shape. I try to create a new space within the existing space of our everyday world for people to enter freely, and unexpectedly ‘disconnect’ from their reality.”

Inspiration takes shape in all sizes, forms, and in many cases is mentally or physically. We use them as tools to forge our dreams into reality. Everyone has them, what’s yours?
